I have lived in Charlestown for 11 years, but I really became part of the community when my oldest started Kindergarten. She is now in 3rd grade and I also have a daughter in 1st grade. Time is truly flying by! This is my second year on the PTO Board. I am grateful that I’ve been given the opportunity to serve the community again this year.

This is my first year running for the PTO Board as the VP of Charlestown. I look forward to having

greater involvement in school-wide initiatives that impact our children's education and school

experience. My husband and I moved to Malvern in 2013. We have a son and a daughter (going into

1st and 3rd grade, respectively) and spend most of our time outside of school participating in various

sports, music lessons and traveling. Professionally, I work full-time as a Key Account Manager for

Sartorius in the biotechnology industry. I have also been serving on the Board for my neighborhood

Home Owner's Association for the past 8 years.

2nd VP

Brenna Wimmer

Hi, my name is Brenna Wimmer. My three sons are all at Charlestown this year-in K, 2nd and 5th. I’m currently a stay at home mom, but previously taught 4th and 5th grades for nine years. I’ve been around CT for a few years now, in PKC and lead parent roles and am excited to be more closely connected with the school through PTO.

Treasurer

Brian Jaffe

Brian has a son starting Kindergarten in Charlestown Elementary in the 2022/23 school year.    As a new member of the Charlestown family, Brian is excited to get involved with the PTO and the school community. Brian's background in technology and finance will help him be successful as the new PTO Treasurer.

Assistant Treasurer

Natasha Aden

I am married with two young boys, and have been fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom for the last 6 years. My 6 year old son Matthew is currently in first grade at Charlestown Elementary, and we all love being part of the CT community. Before kids, I received a BA from the University of Florida, and worked as part of a Marketing team as a Corporate Communications Coordinator. Our family moved to Malvern from South Florida right before the pandemic started, so I’ve just recently been venturing out into the community! We live on a farm with my in-laws, so most of my days are spent caring for our animals and keeping the weeds at bay. I am so excited to join the PTO as the Assistant Treasurer!

Corresponding Secretary

Bethanie Spangler

Hello! My family, husband Anthony and sons Bennett (4th) and Russell (1st), moved from NYC in 2017 and have felt extremely lucky to have joined such a great community.  Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, I worked in the fashion industry as a buyer/merchant for almost 10yrs.  Never having really volunteered in a school setting, I decided that last year was my year of “yes”.  I said “yes” to joining the board and helping with a few other community projects.  I’ve enjoyed the experience thus far and encourage anyone interested to get involved!

Recording Secretary

Kim Hoover-Frey

This is my family's third year as a Charlestown Family. My son is in 5th grade and my daughter is in 2nd grade. I work full-time in the financial services industry. I'm happy to support our lovely school community as recording secretary.

Melissa Kingsley

My family and I moved to Malvern in 2020. My husband is Ian and my three children are Leo (2nd grade), Sienna(1st grade) and Maya (preschool). I am currently a stay at home mom, but previously I worked as an educator for 12 years teaching Spanish and ELL in the high school and middle school level. I  am so excited for the opportunity to be able to work on the PTO and connect with families and teachers in the  Charlestown Elementary community.  I look forward to helping the PTO grow and bring new and exciting experiences to the students and families in our school.
